Tenebrae Service

Tenebrae Service
Thursday, March 29, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Village Church at Midlothian, 233 N. Courthouse Rd, North Chesterfield, VA US 23236

The Thursday before Easter is a special time at the Village, as we reflect together on the cross of Christ through Scripture and song at our annual Tenebrae service.

The word ‘tenebrae’ is Latin for shadows. The purpose of the Tenebrae service is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story. This is not a celebratory service, but a reflective service on the cross of Christ designed to prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter Sunday.

There will be no Community Groups this week so that as many as possible can attend. Childcare will be provided for infants through 4yrs, and older children are encouraged to attend with their families.

When: Thursday, March 29, 7pm - 8pm
Where: Village Church at Midlothian
