Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Village Church a great one!
What can I expect?
How long is a Village Church service?
In total, a Village church service is about 65 minutes in length. Services begin with the Village Worship Band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will share a message from the Bible.
What does the Pastor talk about?
Our sermons are intended to be challenging but also practical, and you can preview past messages on our SERMONS page. Every Sunday at Village Church, those that are followers of Jesus take communion after the message. This will be explained during the service, and it is perfectly fine to simply observe as a guest.
What’s the culture like at Village Church?
Sundays at Village are casual but reverent. We take our worship seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Kids matter at Village. We want our kids to enjoy church, and also to learn from the Bible - so at Village, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Village program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Village Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered at every Village service for kids ages infant - Grade 5.
